So I could be detoxing or I could have a nasty cold. Feeling just weird, because I have these sick symptoms, but they come and go instead of wham me at full force. It sort of feels like I have a hang-over too.

I started my raw adventure in June, and then in September I am eating more raw than ever before. The only thing I enjoy that's not raw is tea and sometimes I steam my veggies. I also tried having sushi, but my face broke out afterward and so it's good-bye to my favorite cooked pleasure. I am also trying to cut down on my sugar in-take (only low-sugar fruit and no raw honey), just for a little while to see if that improves my skin. The neat thing is, even though I'm feeling kind of sick, I really don't want to have anything to do with most cooked foods. Toast? Muffins? Pizza? It doesn't even look like food to me. Now I am craving mushrooms, onions, and lots and lots of garlic. Weird, eh?

I think a cold at about 3-4 months raw is part of detox.

Give your body what it is craving! Mushrooms, onions, and garlic are good medicine. All boost the immune system. Onions are great for loosening up mucus, too.

If you get a sore throat, raw honey will soothe it. The more pollen, propolis, and royal jelly in it the better it will work. Manuka honey is best for medicinal purposes.

I hope you feel better soon.
