I am getting bored with salads, I need to venture out ... craving pizza. Can anyone share with me their BEST raw pizza recipe?
Thanks.

A simple bread-dough recipe has always worked wonderfully for me.I'm looking for a good, tried and true raw pizza crust recipe. This looks really good.I wonder if I can use the oven, in place of the dehydrator but set it at the lowest temperature.

I used my oven's warming drawer to dehydrate some things, becuase I don't have a dehydrator as of yet. I haven't made anything like bread, but you might want to give it a try.

I love so much Alissa's any of her recipes that i tried are great. I also love Rhio's just google also Dr. Ann Wigmore's Living Foods Lifestyle dvd (.org ) has Rhio in there demonstrating a few recipes . She use almond flower with zucchini or cucumber. It gives a pizza texture bread. Very lovely.
Sometime, i simply like using iceberg salad and just top it with the ingredient for pizza. I tend to like very watery food versus condense now.
If you have Alissa's book, try her recipe, it is so good.
I'm not sure if anyone has tried this one here. My mother has been in raw food diet for years now. And she has a simple bread-dough recipe dried under the heat of the sun (I don't know where she got it) . It works just like a dehydrator?

I make a pizza crust with buckwheat groats, flax seed, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, carrots, celery, red onion and a few spices.
So far I've made only 2 types of pizzas. One is with tomato sauce I make, add some nutritional yeast, hemp seeds, then I add black olives and marinated mushrooms.
The other is pesto spread on the crust, spinach leaves, basil, red onion, pieces of red bell pepper, green onions, marinated mushrooms, and you can top it with cashew cheese. If you warm this in the dehydrator even better. You can mix and match toppings how ever you want. I usually use what veggies I have on hand.

PunkRotten, can you give the general measurements for your ingredients? Sounds great!

I like this crust (http://www.rawfoodtalk.com/showthread.php?t=60448&highlight=pizza+crust), topped with Alissa's marinara sauce, baby spinach leaves, and sliced black olives. Then I put it in the dehydrator for about an hour, and topped it with chopped tomatoes and avocado and gobbled it up. :)

Heres the crust recipe:
Raw Pizza Crust
1 cup sunflower seeds, soaked overnight
1/2 cup buckwheat groats, soaked overnight
1 medium carrot
1 stalk celery
2 cloves garlic
2 tablespoons minced red onion
3/4 teaspoon sea salt
fresh cracked black pepper
3/4 cup flax meal
1 1/3 cup water
1/4 cup sesame seeds
1/3 cup whole flax seed
Process oat groats in the food processor until nearly smooth. Add sunflower seeds and process until crumbled. Transfer the mixture to a large mixing bowl. Put carrot, celery, garlic, onion, salt & pepper in the food processor and process until well minced then transfer to the mixing bowl. Stir in whole flax, and sesame seeds. Once the mixture in well combined add flax meal and water and quickly incorporate well. Make two crusts by spreading half the batter onto two dehydrator trays lined with teflex sheets. Dehydrate at 110 for 3 hours or until dry enough to flip and remove teflex. Dehydrate 4 hours more or until done to your liking. Top with toppings, warm in the dehydrator and serve.
Pasta Sauce
10-12 “sundried” tomatoes, allow to soak for several minutes in warm water to soften.
1 large fresh tomato
1 large red pepper
1-2 stalks of celery
1 clove garlic
(4-5 fresh basil leaves)
Blend all of the sauce ingredients in a blender or Food Processor. Add the soaked sundried tomatoes last, a few at a time.
For the toppings on both pizza's I don't really have measurements. You can basically add as little or as much as you want. You can experiment with what ever toppings you want too. Get creative, use what you have in your fridge at the time too. Basically once you got the crust and sauce you can top it with anything you want.
