Since eating raw I am cold most of the time. I walk around in slippers and a sweater most days. I would love to drink tea but for some strange reason I feel guilty, like I am cheating. How much tea do others here drink?

I drink a cup or 2 of herbal or green tea everyday. Why would you feel guilty?
I don't. I wouldn't worry about it.

I drink tea sometimes too..don't feel guilty, if you feed your body quality raw foods then some warm/hot tea can not possible be that bad, in my opinion. I do however make cold soups, because of the enzymes in the veggies, miso or the like.

In Ayurveda they suggest drinking warm/hot water throughout the day - saying it's much easier to hydrate the body that way & it'll keep you warm to boot! ;)

Isn't eating raw all about being healthy?
If you want to let go of caffiene for health reasons, I totally get that. But why would you deny yourself healing herbal teas? It just makes no sense.
We must all be careful in the raw food world to avoid dogma and arbitrary rules.

There are a few minor allowances I give myself. Herbal teas are one. Do these allowances keep me from being 100% raw, yeah. But the truth is, these few things help to keep me raw.

Yeah there is NO WAY that i'm giving up hot herbal drinks. As Kalehua said, having these drinks is a major help for keeping me raw, and i'm expanding on my options too. I was always just peppermint and chamomile but now I want the spiced ones and anything else. I don't see how it is of any harm at all.

I have been raw for 5 years and only giving up drinking tea now and that is because I no longer want it.

Drop the guilt, not the tea. :)
