I am trying to incorporate seasonal eating into my diet as much as possible. What are some Fall foods I should take advantage of?

Butternut squash! Peel it and take away the seeds, then I soak mine overnight just in case. Put it through the food processor to make rice, add a drizzle of olive oil, orange juice, cinnamon, nutmeg, and raisins. If you have a spiralizer you can also make noodles!

Mushrooms and nuts. Probably not exactly that seasonal since you can get both the year round these days, but traditionally they'd be ripe and edible right about this time of the year. Same with wild berries like lingonberry and cloudberry.
Oh man, just got a craving for a cloudberry pie... :D
Oh and is it mango season still or did that pass already?

Oh, my...that butternut squash idea sounds like heaven. And they are cheap too! ;)

If you are truly looking to eat seasonally, what are they selling at your farmer's markets? If you don't have any near you go online. Farmer's markets are a good starting point to eating seasonally as much as possible.

Around here it is apple, APPLES, and more APPLES. I bought 6 different varieties at the Farmers' Market this week. Also several kinds of melons, tomatoes, peppers, and plums, along with kale, carrots, dandelion greens, beets, chard, spinach, cucumbers, Walla Walla onion, and zuchinni. We have had a late season, local Fall squash and pumpkins are not in yet.
