I happen to stumble on this product when i went to their site.
has anyone eaten this?

i was wondering how the flavor was compared to their other almond butters.
i know the other almond butter is from almonds that were heated to 150 deg.

but..... i was wondering what this raw wild almond butter tasted like.

thanks

I see it at my Whole Foods here in Chicago, but it's like $15 which I just can't justify. I already spend $10 a crack for the raw coconut butter and raw tahini but that's because there's only one brand to choose from. There are other raw almond butters besides the Rejuvenative. I will say that from that brand I'v tried the raw sauerkraut and now the veggie delight zing salad...both are very, very concentrated strong flavors. You can only eat a tablespoon at a time. I would guess the raw almond butter is strong but good too.
Good luck.

i know its expensive but its this business of wild almonds.... i am wondering what they taste like.
i see on the front of the jar it has the word bitter. i think that some varities of wild almonds have a bitter component.
i'd like to know what this stuff tastes like.
thanks for your post.

I have purchased their regular raw almond butter many times until the price went up (from $29.99...which was already ridiculous...to $35 at WFM). This product is fabulous...so much better than any almond butter I have ever had (raw or not). I am happy to have found it through the manufacturer's site. Now I don't have to look longingly at it every time I walk by it at the store!

$15 bucks for almond butter? /shakes head

I'll never understand why the vegan/organic food is so expensive. Especially coming from these lesser known brands. You'd think that if they're trying to make it healthier for you, they wouldn't make it so inaccessible with the ridiculous prices. You pay more to eat raw than you do to eat shit.

/end rant.
