I make granola for my kiddos all the time. I use buckwheat, sunflower seeds, and berries. My kids love it!!

I'm not a big breakfast person, and I really don't do as well when I start eating to many "heavier" foods, so I tend to stay away from things like granola. But I think its great for those who can eat it!

I just love the "Two Moms in the Raw" granolas....they are SO delicious. I try to keep them to a minimum in my diet as I could just mindlessly nosh on the stuff for hours and consume far more calories than I need, but it is a great calorie-dense food when I'm on the go or in need of some packed-in nutrition.

I don't have a dehydrator, so I haven't tried making my own yet. My oven works very well on low, so I might give it a try soon. Could be a good project.

I just love the "Two Moms in the Raw" granolas....they are SO delicious. Me too! Two Moms in the Raw granola is really the best especially if you don't make your own. I could just sit and eat it too.

Which flavor do you guys like? I tried one the other day and could only get one bite down.

I've only seen cranberry and blueberry, both of which I really like. (And they taste pretty similar to me.)

Maybe you got a bad batch?

Anyone have the recipe for the Two Moms in the Raw granola bars?

I made some granola not long ago. It had almonds, pumpkin seeds, cacao nibs, flax seeds, goji berries, agave nectar, & cinnamon. Came out good, wasn't too sweet either.

I love granola. Carol Alt has a good recipe but I have loaned my book out and can't get it back. I have a hankerin' for granola.
half cup each of almonds, walnuts and sunflower seeds, half cup soaked raisins, 1 tsp cinnamon or less, half cup oats soaked, honey to taste. Process in food processor til blended. This is close to the recipe. You can top with sliced bananas. Alissa sells raw oats.:)
