Hello
I am thinking of buying a PHILIPS HR1858 Juicer (centrifugal) because I can't afford a masticating juicer ATM. Will the juicer be capable of juicing greens like spinach, lettuce etc etc or is it worth waiting to buy a masticating juicer.
Hope someone can help
thank you.

you can always use any cheap blender , fill half with water . add greens and blend , then pour through strainer . and to me trick is to not blend it too much as it'll airiate it and change taste , blend only as much as needed to chop up
then after pour thru strainer can put the pulp back in blender with water and blend again strain again

Thanks for the reply. I am currently using this method but now I feel is the right time to buy a juicer. I need to detox and clean my body quikly and hope that the green juice will help alot.

maybe look to buy a used juicer off craiglist or a resale type store so can save more towards eventual masticating
then if buy used just soak working parts in a water / bleach mix to really clean , then soak in real hot water
ive never seen a phillips juicer so cant say
