Early Humans Skipped Fruit, Went for Nuts
Tooth analysis reveals our human ancestors preferred root vegetables, nuts and insects in their diets.

How do you eat root vegetables raw? I understand carrots. Fruits feel like they get converted to fat right after I eat them and make me feel sluggish with a "head high".

You eat them raw the same way as you eat anything else. You cut it up, put it in your mouth, chew it and swallow. ;) LOL

I guess that I am not related to the early humans.
I am dissapointed with this report. I can not imagine any early human passing by a tree full of mangoes and digging in the earth around it to look for roots. Perhaps they would look for roots if there was no fruit available but then I would be willing to eat roots if there was no fruit available but not otherwise. It does not make any sense.
