Welcome to the Monthly Raw Challenge!

We're excited about this new area of the forum that is specifically for those of you who are eager to commit to a month of eating 100% raw foods and seeing miraculous results!

WE (one of the moderators) will start a new challenge thread on the first of every month.

We want the focus of these monthly challenge threads to be on staying raw and accountability. Therefore, if you have eaten all raw and then slip up and have something cooked, we don’t want you to beat yourself up over it or dwell on it, but this is not space to discuss it. You are more than welcome to document it in your journal/blog or ask for help in the discussion area, but it is not necessary (and not allowed) to discuss your slip-up here in the challenge threads, just get right back on track and keep going!

In the event that you feel you are not quite ready to fully commit to the challenge and you find yourself having slip-ups often, then please join us again during the following month. Of course you are still more than welcome to participate on other parts of the forum, but we would really like to keep this section dedicated to those who are committed to doing 30 days 100% raw.

Carol, that smoothie sounds soooo good! I sometimes feel like there are not enough meals for me to make all the raw food I want to try. :) guess I'll need a lifetime!

1L lemon water
Green juice
Swiss chard burritos with marinated mushrooms, sprouts, guac, and peppers.
Peaches and strawberries
Handful of cashews

I am not doing super well following the post-fast eating guidelines. Oh well, I have tons of energy so I hope that is a sign I am not taxing my system too much.

Started the day sipping water and munching on what I'll call french fried onions (raw onion bread with too much onion and dehydrated a long time), but they are still pretty good.
Smoothie with water, juice of 2 oranges, frozen pears, romaine lettuce, ground flax seed.
raw fudge balls
Lara bar
Green salad with grape tomatoes, shredded red cabbage and carrots, almonds, dried cranberries, cider vinegar, and some of the french fried onions sprinkled on top.
Flax crackers and mango salsa
Another green salad with grape tomatoes and cider vinegar
Red grapes

Pre-B-lemon water
B-Kale Smoothie
Learned a valuable lesson about organic an non-organic kale.My stomach would not digest the non at ALL. Threw it all away,had to catch a ride to get the real stuff.Much betta!!Gonna have to start growing some.
L-julienned squash and marinara sauce
S-banana and raw chocolate dip
D-Avacado romane lettuce boats

Still going strong,but ever since the 10 day I am eating alot,and Im soo hungry,gonna start sipping tea,its mostly at night.Oh well this shall pass at some point too, Im sure.
