One that does not contain coconut meat though. I saw the one on Alissa's blog but not sure where I could get fresh coconut meat without butchering a coconut myself, I'm just not up for that right now : )

Any great recipe suggestions?

Thanks!

Michele

If you have a VitaMix, put 2-4 frozen bananas along with a little bit of water (or almond milk or snother "milk"), and 1/2-1 tablespoon of cacao powder. Blend well - it comes out like a lovely soft serve ice cream. If you like it firmer, you can put it in the freezer for a while, but I like the soft texture better. It does taste a bit like bananas, but it's really quite tasty.

I was in the habit of making it by putting either a few walnuts or pecans in the food processor with 4 frozen bananas and then adding a teaspoon of chocolate powder and a teaspoon of carob powder.
Do not have any of those things in my house any more.

I just made it in the food processor with 2 frozen bananas and 1 tablespoon of cacao powder. It was silky smooth, and tasted amazing. It was also less banana-y than when made in the vitamix.

Not even bananas, Sport?? Wow... just goes to show how people change over the years. I have even in this relatively short time.

Oh gosh no. I have loads of bananas. No nuts or chocolate.
