Body Jewellery and Energy Blockage?

Does anyone know of.. or think there is a possibility that metal body jewellery could possibly block energy channels in the body to the point that illness/disease is actually activated/enhanced/difficult to overcome? What about spiritually & emotionally?

I feel like everything is stuck in my solar plexus, coincidentally where I have had stainless steel in my navel for the last 11 years.

I have now removed everything except for a ring on my right ear. Any feedback would be great :)

Anything is possible and if it works for you then it is the right thing to do. I've read accounts similar. Also have read a good deal about the various products to increase energy channels and such. My sister swears by a bracelet she wears...

i know that if you hit an acupressure point... it's not a good thing with piercing.

i guess you'll be able to let us know... if your blockage releases without the belly ring in there.

I had a therapist show me an energy clearing technique one time and I happened to have on a nice peice of metal costume jewelry and her words were that you shouldn' t wear cheap metal as it blocks the flow of energy. I believe there is something to it. I think that holding emotions in the body blocks the flow of energy that can result in illness.

My advise: Read the post about earthing, take off the metal jewelry and go sit in the grass for an hour and let the natural flow of energy from the earth normalize you. (I am being silly but this is probably good advise...that I need to heed for myself.)

Just broke up with my boyfriend of 3 years and am trying to take this time to emotionally clear myself from a lifetime of build up.

I know that I'm just filled to the brim.. things like camel pose make me queasy at just the thought, let alone attempting.

Sitting in the grass sounds perfect. Hopefully it's warm out tomorrow night.

I am loving my almost completely metal-free body already.

Yes, I have heard this as well.. apparently only on the left side, where I had mine twice. I had to take it out for work and it grew in on me in a couple hours.

neither happened for me and i've had my nose pierced for about 20+ years now.
