I'm on a cleanse and am really detoxing in many ways. I really craved a nice warm bath last night and so of course I got a really nice book and took one. As I was in the tub I thought it would really be nice to add something to this tub and open up my airways which are clogged from detoxing. My ears are extremely clogged so I just put warm rags on them while in the tub but you get the drift.

Is there anything you add special to your baths at anytime for which purpose. ( Meaning do you add something if you just want to relax and what is it, do you add somthing else if you want to unclogged you airways and so forth.) Thanks.

Whenever I take a bath I always add sea salt. It's great for detoxing as sea salt is naturally alkaline and helps de-acidfy the body. Works wonders for me, give it a try.

sometimes I add epsom salts, if I'm sore. Good way to get magnesium too if you are deficient. Lately I'm taking quick showers, as our well is low :)

I use Epsom Salts for detox and lavender and peppermint oil. Totally relaxing. Sometimes when I really want a good soak, I prop up my little DVD player and watch episodes of 24 while soaking for a good hour as well. Drives my husband nuts!!

I like to use dead sea mineral bath salts. In combination with dry skin brushing before the bath, my skin becomes super soft & it really helps alleviate detox symptoms.

In the past I have taken a couple capsules of sage internally to increase blood flow to the extremeties and then taken a sweat bath with a couple teaspoons of powdered ginger to promote sweating. Get in the bath with water that is very warm so that you sweat, drink warm/hot herbal tea to keep you warm and do this for at least 20 minutes. Take a shower and finish with cool water to close pores. Wrap up in a robe and blankets to stay warm and continue to sweat. This is GREAT for any illness that is coming on to help detox.
