Hi everyone,

How are you all?

I have decided to give this a shot so i can give my baby as much goodness as i possibly can. I'm 3.5 months pregnant and im so lethargic and and about 50lb overweight, my skin is spotty, i still have sickness and i just feel unhealthy. My diet is so poor, im eating rubbish so i know im not getting the goodstuff i need.

I am going to really give the green smoothies a go,they are so yummy!! and i belive that by eating raw and healthy food a can really give my little bean the best start, i have heard alot of really positive things about this diet so im looking forward to starting.

im going to ease myself into it, and then monday go for it.

i am a bit confused about waht i can and cant have tho, i totally love the green smoothies ( i have an awesome recipie) and im loving almonds at the moment.

Any advice would be greatly received :) xx

You have made a good decision.
My friend (not a raw foodist) drank a lot of green smoothies when she was pregnant (I did not force feed her) and now her 2 year old can not get enough of them. She absolutely loves them. What you eat when you are pregnant does not only effect them for the nine months.
She is now pregnant and I am aware that there are foods that she can not have.
Flax seeds is one of them.
Prepared juices that have not been pasteurised is another.

After the first week it will be fantastic. Within the first month it will be outstanding. After a couple of months it will be absolutely colossal and unbelievable.

I might be a little to enthusiastic about the diet, but after a week I feel fucking insanely great! Give it to yourself and your baby.

I mix:

vegetables:
avocados
spinach
lettuce
other greens

fruits:
bananas
water melon
lemon

juices:
orange
pineapple

This mix is great for smoothies. I also eat mixed nuts.
