I decided, even though I don't "do" pictures, that I needed to take a look. The before one was probably June or so taken by a neighbor in FL.
I started Raw beg. of May and I've been pretty much 100% from the beginning. With a few chosen events that were pretty insignificant diversions, if you want to call them that. I've lost about 40 lbs. depending on the day and time.
The "after" was about 3 weeks ago, so probably a few lbs. heavier than now, at the window dedication at our church. Don't have any of just me.... sorry.
Guess I'm pleased. Seems like I should be smaller, but hey - I've got time.

To get to "the charts" I could lose another 40. We'll see how it goes.... I'd be happy with 20. I obviously like the weight loss but that wasn't the reason I started raw. just a very nice benefit!!!

Wow - you look great - and so happy!
It's ironic that even though you are not smiling as big in the second picture you look happier. Your eyes are more peaceful and your skin glows. Beautiful!

you should be pleased! There is quite a noticeable difference. You look youthful, glowing, and rejuvenated! :D. I think it does taking longer for some of us to drop the excess lbs. My fat percentage didn't really move until after 6 months... it was like, nothing, then seemingly overnight 6 lbs were gone. then a plateau for another 4 months, then another 6 lbs mysteriously vanished. keep up the good work!

Your hair looks fabulous. Congrats!
Thanks...I like the asymmetrical look and i have a really good hairdresser! Since starting Raw (after about 2 months or so) I've had some thinning going on, but i think maybe it has finally slowed to normal. Thank goodness I had enough to start with.
I started taking a Raw Vitamin and a hair/skin/nails supplement to try and get the hair loss under control.

You look maaarvelous! Hair thinning-I have had that trouble too. Before raw I started using some herbal hormonal support and that seemed to help. I have had spells since going raw where there is more hair in the drain and on the floor. I am still taking the herbs but I have noticed that it will fall out for a while and then will all grow back in for a while. I don't worry too much. My hair dresser said that when you make a dramatic change such as going raw that you can loose more hair.

looking good!!! hair thinning..I went through this. As I've said b4, been no-poo for 1 1/2 yrs..wow!!!! Stopped permanent hair color, now using semi-perm..working on going natural. My hair feel and looks so much thicker to me. I use no products on my hair except bs & av mixed together with water. Will occ use aloe gel from the plant or some of the juice in the bottle. It makes it a little sticky.

How much weight you lose doing raw is secondary. The most blessed thing is that you are providing your body with good wholesome and REAL nutrition which is way more important! You look awesome and is doing a great job buddy. Keep it up! :D

Thanks for all the kind words; I go in streaks of this being really easy and then... not so. I'm in a not so right now so a pat on the back was sure needed.
This whole thing is really a day at a time...

there are so many of us that have struggles. Some revert to the comfortable past that put them here, others don't give in. Posting and learning here has so many unspeakable benefits. The day will come when you feel you have total control of weight, dimension, size and the body you own. Most importantly, you will have control of all that is you.
The gains (I mean losses) you have experienced are obvious in the pictures. Best wishes on your journey, you will find many lifelines here...
