It's funny how you make a green smoothy and you don't seem to be hungry for a long time after... gives your body all it needs.
I am on day two and.. twenty eight day to go to feel the effects fully.
A few questions for rawists more experienced:
What is the best and easiest way to buy fresh organic foods?
What dark green vegetables are best to alkalize?

You will have to go on a scouting trip around your area to see where you get the best produce. Check the health food stores and the speciality fruit and veg shops as well as the farmers markets. You will only have to check it out at the start.
It is best to rotate your greens. Kale is the king but too much of it will give you too oxalic acid. Use them all. They all have merit but the darker ones are better.

I will alternate between spinach, kale (yuck) and broccoli for the moment. I like to mix them in a fruit smoothie. I have found a Sunnyfields fresh organic store that delivers weekly. I might try that out.

Hi there!
I also find Green Smoothies to be filling and "appetite surpressing" :p
I like farmers markets the best for organic produce, but I also shop at Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, and in other mainstream markets' organic produce sections.
Pretty much anything green alkalizes - like sport said, Kale is the greatest, but we must rotate!
Welcome!
