how do I do it?

I've googled and got basically put some brazil nuts in a blender until smooth.

is that really as simple as it is?

Ive always avoided using nuts in my blender cos of the damage they might do to the blades.. certainly blunt them atleast.

I came into this thread to say exactly what you said. Put some nuts in a blender and blend!

You obviously blend them with water, I've never known nuts like brazil nuts to blunt blades. I make all kinds of nut milks in my non vitamix blender, brazil, almond, macadamia, cashew... :D

It is just that easy. Brazil nut do not need to be soaked because they don't contain the enzyme inhibitor that is in most brown skinned nuts.

Blend 1 cup Brazil nuts with 3 cups water. For a richer milk, let sit 10 minutes before straining. Enjoy!

Like macadamia and cashew nuts, the entire brazil nut can be blended into a smooth milk.
