Day six, it is so much fun to see the weight coming off!

This raw way of eating makes for a great appetite suppressant for sure!

My plan for the day:

apple for breakfast, apples til lunch (and coffee w/almond milk) OH OH OH I just discovered something so yummy!! Raw cereal! KK it's just really raw dried fruit, raw dried fruit leather raw pumpkin seeds, raw walnuts
chopped, raw chopped almonds and this in a shallow dose of almond milk! YAY woot woot! I'm working on making my raw almond milk now :)

I might make raw almond milk this morning :)

hmmmm... maybe a veggie plate w/fruit smoothie for lunch and...

maybe that yummy "rice cauliflower" from last night which is really basically
"raw taco filling" with flax crackers and/or raw corn chips.

I snack on raw blackberry fruit leather and seeds and nuts if I get hungry through the day -- or a lara bar -- and dessert tonight will likely be a peach warmed with cinnamon on it.

:)

Go Team!

Hi everyone! Tomorrow I will start a juice fast -- my first juice fast. I am a bit nervous, but luckily, there is a good fasting thread on this forum that will help me alot. :) Hooray to all of you on this forum for your support!

Today is prep day: 1L of lemon water, 1L of green juice (garlic, cucumber, pear, apple, and lettuce), a few apples, some celery. For dinner I will have another L of juice and some applesauce.

So I will be disappearing from this thread til the fast is over... wish me luck, and good vibes to you on your raw journey!

Yesterday went really well. My cravings came down hard but left quickly so I was able to wait them out. I am a baker in a co-op kitchen so the temptations are EVERYWHERE. My motivation is strong and my purpose is clear....one day at a time right?
B: Raw granola w/ raw almond milk (I put in an entire vanilla bean- yum)
L: Lettuce wrps w/ avo and tomatos plus more ricotta and crackers
D: Corn medley salad and something else?
I have a ton of fruit to snack on and I bought some fudge raweo cookies!!!
PS. I am already down two pounds!

Hi everyone Im joining the raw challenge, day 6 is day one for me.

Well I was not even going to atempt to go 100% untill I had everything all in a neat row and ready to go,I was shooting for October's challenge.I dunno what happen but something inside of me has been naggin at me to start now,to quit making it more difficult then it has to be,that if i just start now all the lil details will fall into place.
So over this weekend, I gave away everything in my fridge that I no longer want in my body, and realized Im gonna be as broke tommorrow as I am today- yet I will still have to eat.So I made some sacrafices and did some serious produce shopping. Not all organic, yet all fruits and veggies.I guess I will be eating mostly whole foods, juiceing an doin, da smoothey thing!!
I'm not exspecting it to be easy at first, and Ive read an read about some of the cravings and symptoms to come so I can release the years of toxins that are in my body.
Im okay with all this, because Ive done the research and I know this is just a stepping stone. When the storm passes the payoff will be more then I can imagine.
Soooo happy to begin this journey and cant wait to be weeks and weeks into this already!!!!!!
WTG for everyone who joined the 30day challenge!!!!!! heres to good health :D

Starters-cold tea-lemon water
B-2 banna's
6leafs of kale-banna-mago-strawberry-pineapple smoothie- Yummmy!!
For rest of day a few glasses of Carrot ginger pear juice, and a few giant salads, and whatever fruit or vegies fill me up :)

Ps I dont know if I posted the the pics right, but I made over my fridge last night and thought I'd post a few pic's.

Not feeling too great today. I slept in until 8:00 which is late for me, and didn't feel very good this afternoon. I think, and hope, I'm just detoxing.

warm water with lemon juice, sea salt, and honey
green smoothie
Lara bar
my green bean mixture from the other day with raw tomato sauce (this made it taste a little better)
raw chocolate pudding
raw acai cheesecake (compliments of my sister-in-law)

How long will you juice fast? Do you drink juice the whole day?

Hi Tru,

Yes - about 4L of green + fruit juice per day. I do not know how long I plan to do it for. Right now I am taking it one day at a time. Mid-afternoons are hardest for me. Aleesha has a great thread on the Fasting part of RFT that says: I will not break my fast today, but I can tomorrow. :p This helps me get through the mid-afternoon cravings!
