Hey friends! I've been MIA for quite a while now, so I thought I should re-introduce myself. Also, quite a bit has changed :).

So I'm Sara and I live in Seattle. I've recently begun teaching Bikram yoga. I also work full time as a Case Manager/Therapist for a community mental health organization. So, I'm pretty busy, and I haven't been eating well (again). So it is time for me to start feeding my body better. Just like everyone else who has tried, I felt so much better when I was all raw before.

So here goes! I'm happy to see so many familiar names and faces around already :).

Welcome Back!

I have an insanely busy schedule as well, and I could not do it without the energy from raw food. The key for me is preparing ahead - just like Alissa says in her book.

It is great to "see" you again Sara - be well!

Hi Sara,

I'm in Seattle, too! (Just moved here.) It's awesome to have a few raw vegan restaurants in town....we don't have so many in DC where I'm from. Welcome back and good luck.

My name is Dawn and I'm a newbie here to the forum. :)
Yes indeed, our bodies need, crave the proper fuel to keep it going throughout the day... hooray for living foods! :)
I don't know how I survived last year (or the other years before that) drinking soda after soda and processed or frozen food, plus junk for a 'pick me up' and survived.
Glad all that's in the past though and my future is looking bright!
