I can find lots of info on food combing, but not on HOW LONG you should wait before consuming something that doesn't "go" together. I know melons should be eaten alone and I am having watermlon juice for lunch, but how long is an optimal wait time before I eat something else? I'd like to eat a peach for an afternoon snack if I get hungry....

It's usually 30 minutes between fruit and the next meal afterwards. Between 2 fruits, probably similar. Not sure of anything else.

I dunno. I don't think about it much. I just figure all the food I eat goes together and eat when I'm hungry ~ which doesn't seem to be often.

I'm like you Revvell. I never gave it much thought, then someone pointed out the other day that I had the WORST lunch-combo ever. Made me think I should be upping my game-but I really don't wanna.

Well, what does that mean to them? Worst? Ever???? How'd you feel after? Gaseous? Discomfort? If not, then, probably not the WORST EVER! eh?

I think the worst ever is when folk mix a dead animal carcass with some starch, sugar, caffeine and alcohol. Now, THAT is the worst EVER! ;)

I had a chart and the heading on it was "food transit times" but I have googled it and can not find where I may have got it.
It must be out there somewhere in cyberland.

I go to a md that is big on food combining. There is a lot of information on his web site. He is ok with raw food, but he says it can carried to far. His site is drugfreehelp.com see what you think
