Im currently on a 21+ day water fast and I am on day 3. Well, you could say I am on day 5 but on day 2 I gave up and binged. Shortly after I felt so guilty and I felt like a failure so I made myself throw it up ( I know I probably have an eating disorder). Im not sure whether or not that ended my fast so I just restarted the day count back to one the day after that.
The reasons for my fast are to try and clean out my system completely. I plan on eating 100% raw after the fast. I want to try and rid myself of addictions. I want to try and help my issues (severe body dysmorphic disorder, depression) because im effing sick of taking pills that do nothing and that are probably causing more hard to my body than good and finally get rid of my acne.
I love food and and I am so excited to eat raw but I only want to do it on a clean system or if I could get a system just as clean another way. I strongly feel that making the 21+ days is something that I have to do but it is very hard. Not only on the mind but I also have a test for school in about a week so I wouldn't be able to finish my fast (unless thinking becomes easier the longer you fast).
So I was just wondering if there are any other alternatives to water fasting or juice fasting that could get me the same results (NOT WEIGHT LOSS) even if it takes longer. Your responses will be greatly appreciated :)
