;) Bet you didn't even miss me. Bet most don't even remember me. Yes, it has been a while -- but then, who's counting. I just know a wanna come back to vibrant health. And I know, from first hand experience that this is the answer.

When I very first went raw, it was so easy. . . so blessed. And I got rid of aches and pains that I had accepted as normal with aging. That was 5 or 6 years ago. Yes, I detoxed, mostly emotionally. . .such fun.

I'm ready to go there again, even the detox part. I am tired of being only half of what I know I can be. I'm tired of being on an emotional rollercoster. I'm tired of cheating, if that is what you call it -- eating as the rest of the world eats. But, even that is not true, cause my eating is so healthy compared to SAD. But I know the benefits of all RAW. I want that kind of health!

It's mid afternoon, starting now, I commit myself to 100% raw. Simple raw. I've got Alissa's book and have committing myself to rereading it and I'll recheck out the DVD too. I really don't feel up to the fancy (or even not-so-fancy) recipes, gotta keep it simple, like when I started years ago. It was fruit, nuts, and salads. But, now I know the secret of green smoothies. I'll do that too -- daily. Needless to say, I need to go to a bit of shopping -- only fresh and raw stuff. I also need to do a bit of house cleaning (pantry mostly).

It does feel good to get this down in writing. Thanks for listening and standing with me!!!!

So, now that I've recommited myself, will you help me stand firm? I need your support. Trust me on that one, I've started many a day claiming I was going to be all-raw, only to falter by mid-morning.

Welcome Brenda. :D
Some of us started a 100 day 100% raw challenge this week (day 5 now), so feel free to join in that thread if you'd like. Some of us are staying completely raw, and others are struggling with it, but we're all supportive of the others, no matter where we're at.

GlimR -- seems we've both been on this site since 2005, did you use to be Glimmergirl? Or something like that? Your name sounds so familar.

Thanks for the welcome!

Once again, I'm back.

I was going through all the old post and look what I found. That Auguat commitment didn't last too long. What am I going to do with me?

I've got a few aches and pains back since I've slipped. So, once again, I try to do the all-raw. Not mostly raw! But 100% raw.

I started over 3 days ago. Came on this site last night, listened to a Allissa and Revvel conversation that was recommended on main page, and managed to do 100% today. Day 1 & 2 were probably 99%. I feel good about today.

I can do this! I need to do this!

rawnewbie9 -- thanks for your comment. Maybe I should reread my commintment daily -- you know, print and post on my mirror and read daily. Hm-m-m-m good idea! Maybe I will.

You are ahead of me by a week or so. Is this your first time going raw? Mucho good luck to you! We can do this!!!
