Well - I've had loads of green smoothies - but this was the first one that was "mine"

radish leaves, tomato, cuke, sante fe pepper (a very mild "hot" pepper)

All grown in my little old garden, from seed.:)

I only had enough for about 12 oz or so and made it quite watery at that to be more broth like as apposed to sluchie like. The toms and cukes are being stubborn about ripening up - although looks like a pletora of toms is in my future if nothing goes wrong....but cukes and radish leaves - not anytime soon. Need to plant more radishes, and the cukes were not a huge success...not sure if they are not producing - or something is getting the wee ones before I see them.

How is everyone's gardens going?

our cukes aren't doing anything either. our radishes are done. other than that... it's going good.

What are you harvesting now?

I have carrots and rainbow chard planted from march/april. I get maybe 1-2 small toms/day average ..... and I planted 20 plants! There are finally a lot of green one thinking about starting to blush up - I hope.

but I got no squash, only about 5 cukes, maybe 8 hot peps. 2 super small cabbages, 5 beets. I planted fresh cukes and zukes about 3 weeks ago - maybe a harvest - but depends on the fall weather...

About to put in my fall garden - spinach, beets, fast carrots, radish, peas......

Hopefully - a nice harvest from here on out - with the end of the summer crops and the start of the fall crops.....

todays 100% garden smoothie used:

Tomato
sorrel
radish greens
lambsquarters
chard
sante fe pepper

Right now I'm enjoying a mint, pear, and grape smoothie. Only the mint coming from the garden, but someday.......yes - pears and grapes too:)
