I'm getting ready to start the master Cleanse on Monday. I've always had a huge success with releasing toxins when I do it which is why I do it fairly often. My question is, do you release toxins in a water fast? I know the MC provides the ingredients to make sure you do, so I was wondering how it compares to just drinking water alone?

you release more toxins in a water fast than you do during a m/c.

Hmmmm, I didn't know that! So after a water fast, do you not gain the weight back then?

you can gain all the weight back from any fast if you don't eat healthy. it's no different.

Water fasting (think I might go for another journey soon) is way more intense than MC, juice fasting or anything. Everything is heightened (hope I spelled that right) - cravings, reflections, thoughts, feelings, etc. A water fast is much more serious and should definitely not be as long as fasting where the body is being supplemented with something - just my opinion and experience. It should be well thought out as far as your schedule goes - ideally it would great if you could just be at home during the whole fasting period - unfortunately, I had to work. I didn't do any of that flushing or anything (salt-water flushing is just not something I subscribe to). I was planning to do a colonic afterwards but when I began breaking my water fast with various juices WOW, I had some major major bowel movements - even more than I did with the master cleanse (which I love because it truly is cleansing and my skin just clears up and glows from those lemons)
Yep, like Aleesha said, any kind of fast can result in weight gain afterwards depending on what you return to eating...gotta go, lightning (no more power surges for me )

i agree 100% with lav. water fasting is hard core... too hard core for me to be honest. i've done 15 days and another 5 day water fast and it was amazing but hard...

I've only done a water fast twice & both times it was for a day. It was very intense for sure. I just feel the need to be light right now & get rid of not only toxins in my body but emotional stuff too.
Thanks!
