Raw apple pie recipe (Alissa's) question

In the recipe for raw apple pie (easy), there is one apple unaccounted for - for the filling it calls for 7 apples, and says to chop 4, and blend 2... any idea where the 7th goes? I'm probably just going to chop it as well, unless someone has a better suggestion?
