What is a salad without the occasional bacon bits.
1 cup sprouted sunflower seeds, soak in shoyu, liquid smoke, and maple syrup. The shoyu gives it the salt, the liquid smoke gives it the smokey bacon flavor, and the maple if you want the maple flavor. The maple can be optional. I used just enough to make sure all the seeds are covered. About 1/4 cup shoyu, start with 1/8 t smoke. 1 T maple syrup. Add flavors to taste. Remember the liquid smoke is verrrry strong. Soak seeds for no more than 30min. Didn't keep track of time. Sorry. Nor did I measure the ingreds. Drain pat dry. Dehydrate until crunchy. Enjoy I did.
