Hi Everyone,

My Raw journey is slightly (very) different from a lot of people's on this board and in and around the internet that I have read about, though I am still on the same mission as most of you - to live a life 100% raw.

I was diagnosed with an eating disorder (anorexia) at age 12, and have battled the disease and the many complications that go hand in hand with the disease since. At my lowest weight of 65 pounds in 2008 at age 18, I discovered Raw Food through a friend on the internet have been hooked since. Now, nearly 20, I am totally addicted and maintain the fact that without discovering the awesomeness of raw food that day, I most certainly wouldnt be here today.

If there is anyone from the UK on this board that would like to connect, share ideas, recipes etc…feel free to message me!

Lucie :)

good for you. It would be good if you could get some publicity on TV, magazines, newspaper to get this out to many especially the teenagers. Glad you're doing better!!!

The good thing about the raw food lifestyle is one can use it to lose weight and gain weight. There are enough raw foods high in good fat that can help an individual put on a few pounds if they are underweight, etc. :)
