OK so I was so good all last week, then had to head home for a wedding this weekend and boy did I do some damage... And of course you'd think I'd jump right back on the raw wagon sunday or monday, but no.... so alas, today is my first day back and all of the support here is sure to help quite a bit... i really can't ever do this without this forum ~ so thanks in advance for all the love =)
Just had a green apple ~~ plan on big salads, strawberries, avocados and beyond... xoL

Hi all,
my plan for today
green smoothie with watermelon and collard greens
apples
nectarin and peaches
a large green salad
maybe some goji
I feel like I am becoming a whole. My body feels clean, lighter, and I do not crave that much. I am comfortable with my way of eating so far. Sometimes it becomes hard to cook for my husband but I think I am getting used to it.
It is wonderful to have this forum so I can meet with you guys and share my feelings and learn from you..
Happy days everyone,
Tguch

Hi everyone, hope you are all having a joyful day!
Had a big spinach grape smoothie for breakfast. Lunch was a salad of mesclun lettuce, white cabbage, tomatoes, and carrots with avocado, sea salt, olive oil dressing. Snacked on goji berries, bananas, and apricots in the afternoon. Dinner was interesting! Yesterday I made mushroom burgers based on Matthew Kenney's portobello sausage patties recipe, and today they were ready. They are really delicious!
Also created a new pasta dish for the summer. Pasta was zucchini spirals (used a round zucchini so the linguine was quite wide). Added thinly sliced onions, freshly shelled peas (my first time eating raw pea--yum!!!), sliced radish, scallions, and green pepper slices to the zucchini-guini. Then poured the sauce over it all. Sauce was white miso in warm water (which I then let cool), with sesame oil, lime juice, ginger, and a touch of agave (next time I'll use lucuma powder instead to thicken the sauce). It was beautiful to look at, flavorful, but light tasting. My first raw creation! :)
And because this post is super long, I will just continue. I noticed today that the pores on my face are shrinking. I always thought pore size was genetics and therefore you get what you're born with. Maybe not my friends, maybe not.

rawmagic, i think that it would be very hard to cook for someone else-food that you once ate- while eating raw. I did it once or twice when my nephew visited me for a day but I would always take a spoonful of whatever I was cooking. It's hard I tell ya.
B- watermelon-lemon water
S- flaxseed, wheat grass and 2 cups of blended zucchini
L- 2 cup of blended alfalfa sprouts , lemon water , watermelon
D- red lettuce, cherry tomatoes, green oinions, hemp seeds and grapes w/lemon and salt/ spices dressing very tasty.

rawmagic, I'm there too and it does get easier. I have to cook for my kids and husband. I still experience cravings and intense desire to eat the food, but am able to resist with some ease now (this is my second month of 100% raw). It also really helps to cook things I wouldn't be able to eat anyway, like wheat pasta and anything with dairy LOL
today...
green smoothie with spinach, kale, bananas, blueberries, frozen smoothie fruit, sprouted brown rice protein powder
apple
larabar
half a cantaloupe
veggie "stirfry" with coconut curry sauce (YUM)
banana-date ice cream with pecans

well Juniper, it sometimes is. But I always remind myself I will be healthier and this is something that I choose, nobody is forcing me. I'm doing it for well being, health, weight loss, get rid of my food addiction. This is the way.. These are all the things I keep telling myself. So far it works and let me tell you I cook for him everyday..

rawmoose I hear you...Yeah it gets easier. This is my only 13 th day of raw as of August 10, so you are much more experienced..
I am trying to be very focused on my way of eating before going to kitchen for him and I make sure that I am not hungry. :D

Hi I am here haven't been posting here but I have been doing well with the challenge. Got a champion juicer off craigslist for a steal and have been juicing up a storm makes it easy to stay raw. It surprisingly fills me up. Drink lots of water. Have a nice salad about 3:00 and I'm good for the day evening I am just drinking, or nibbling on nuts or vegy with a bit of dip
