I have been raw since this spring; as close to 100% as is possible with local limitations.:( I really have very few cravings; nothing serious.

I have been living alone since April as DH was working in another state. I recently went to visit. SO.... after he picked me up at the airport we went 'out' to a buffet (he's tall, thin and healthy, lol). I had no problem sticking with the salad and o/v dressing, but as I walked around just to see what was really there (a very large place with 8 or 9 islands of food) I became overwhelmed. I actually had a mini panic attack. It was really amazing. I wasn't really tempted, but just feelings of something close to revulsion.

Same thing happened to me the first trip thru the "rest of the aisles" at the super market. Just an overall feeling; actually caused tears to form.

I guess I get it, I was just surprised by the depth and breadth of feelings.

I feel like that when I go to gas stations. Man! It's just so disgusting and kind of heartbreaking to see all that gross stuff people fuel themselves on road trips. At least there are always bananas, although of course those cost a dollar a piece as opposed to what else you can get...:( But! there was a subway at this one gas station I went to on a recent road trip and I was so happy to get a real salad!

Glad to know I'm not crazy, lol. It was strange, for sure. Wonder if it will stop?

Something similar has been happening to me and my husband.
We like to go mall walking (our mall is 2 stories) and we have to pass by the food court of course and back in the day while we were on the SAD, we would have embraced the smells from the food court, but now when we walk through the smells are revolting. It doesn't help either as we walk by people scarfing down greasy pizza, burgers, fries, chinese food.
Or sometimes I will be in a store and I look in people's carts and all they have in there is soda pop, frozen tv dinners, frozen pizzas, lunchmeat, ice cream and chips. No fruit, no veggies, nothing to sustain a body.
I am in no way judging anybody because 5 months ago, my husband and I were these people, I have just become more aware / alert of what people are putting into their bodies now for some reason.

I agree, TorahKeeper.
It is just so sad to see these people poisoning themselves every day.
