I often make lemon black iced tea in my single cup brewer but used pasteurized organic lemon juice from the health food store because I only use 1-2 tbsp of juice per cup of tea and this way it stores for a long time.
If I made my own raw lime juice (I prefer limes) how long would it keep for in the fridge?
Thanks

I'm guessing a 3 - 4 days, but I do know that adding lemons, apples, limes, or even carrots to veg juice can lengthen it's life. Adding "sugar" or "acid" acts like a preservative.
Of course, the nutrients are best within 30 minutes, but with our busy lives, it's often difficult.....I figure it's better to have day-old juice, than none at all!
Not much help.....LOL

I find my lemon and lime juice lasts quite a few days in the fridge. I've never had it go 'bad', but I use a lot.
I buy 5-10# of each and juice them all at once, pour into saved little glass bottles and freeze. That way I've always got organic raw juice on hand. Works for me! I just ordered 20# of limes from Azure Standard, now that's a lotta limes.... *Ü*
