Hi everyone,
I am sooo happy to share that this is my 8th day wow....
I weighed myself today and saw that I have lost 3.6 kg(7.5 pounds)
WOW WOW WOW...
so anyways, todays plan
banana blueberry spinach smoothie
apple and peach
gonna try eggplant spaggetti instead of zucchini
goji berries
a green mixed salad
a peach

WOW thats amazing RawMagic! Congrats to you! Truly inspiring to me and I'm sure many others.

I've been on and off this forum, particularly in the monthly challenge. Today is my third day back on raw foods. I feel decent, cravings haven't been too terrible... Seems like each time gets just a tad easier.

I can't even compare the differences in my mood, energy, and appearance between when I'm raw and when I'm not. I sometimes wonder why I ever divert from this lifestyle in the first place. But alas, here I am again, ready to try once more.

I've been doing hemp-banana shakes, big salads, fruits, avocados, and that's been pretty satisfying to me so far. I have an issue with overeating nuts and nut butters, so I'm planning to leave them out of this trial as much as possible. I was craving some raw cashews (which I used to love eating with sun dried tomatoes) but once I began eating them, I couldn't stop; and therefore I think its best I abstain completely.

I'm in a good place right now, not really exercising like I should be, but I suppose I'll do that when I feel inspired to. Looking forward to experiencing this with all of you =)

Well I am learning actually..So far so good. I am sure you will be o.k here with wonderful raw food people...At least I am. There are so many good examples here...

Morning~
Starting my day with a green smoothie-orange juice, energy greens, frozen banana, blueberries & spinach...delicious!!! My day goes so much better when I have this in the morning.

My new fridge (second fridge) is coming today. I am so thrilled to be getting one just for my raw food. It's small to fit in the kitchen, 9.7 cubic feet, about two feet wide and 50 inches tall, perfect for keeping my produce, nuts. etc...
Will take a pic when I get stuff switched over to it...beautiful!!!

Not sure what I'll eat today...salad, pink lady apples, celery, watermelon....sounds about right~:D

Hi,

I am starting today. so far my plan is a fruit smoothie with ground flaxseed and flax oil for breakfast. I usually don't eat breakfast. Fresh veggies for snack time. A strawberry/ green salad for lunch. I'll will have a green smoothie for dinner with a large salad.

I have a small blender. This Friday I am going to purchase a larger blender. I am up in the air on buying a juicer.

I need to post a photo. I currently weigh 230lbs. I have several health issues. My main goals is to feel better and increase my energy to keep up with my home-schooled pre-teens.

Good morning.

Not much of an appetite today.

Breakfast: grapes (try to work up to a green smoothie)
lunch: large veggie salad
dinner: Whole Foods raw meal
snacks: fruit, nuts & raisin mix

Brekkie - whole galia melon
Snack - chia, sultananas, banana and a tiny drop of agave
Snack - 3 peaches
Lunch - Spinach, grape, banana, date and hemp oil smoothie
Snack - a few bits of raw pie
Dinner - raw crackers - sunny pate, lettuce, olives, toms and spring onions

Wow, I've eaten a lot today! Feeling great, didn't feel like I was over eating and feel energised so that's all that matters I suppose.

Hi everyone! Hope you're all having a great day. For me, I think I am at that it's getting worse before it gets better stage. A bit of tension in my head, a bit lethargic, feeling introverted, and my pee smells really strange. Ok, probably more than you needed to know. :) I am really surprised to have these symptoms --especially the introvertedness-- as the last time I did the 30 day challenge I don't remember having any adverse feelings. Well, let's see where it goes!

Inspired by GlimR, a great big green smoothie kicked off the day of spinach, carrots, cucumber, ginger, lemon and green powder. Lunch was wraps of bibb lettuce around zucchini, carrots, radish sprouts, mint, and cilantro with a mock peanut dipping sauce. Snacked on a few dates with jasmine tea in the afternoon. Made a raw peach cobbler with pumpkin seed crust and had 2 pieces for dinner. Gosh, even just recapping what I had to eat today makes me so happy-- isn't raw food the best?:rolleyes:

32 oz green juice (spinach, celery, cucumber, parsley)
chocolate rainforest bliss (raw drink w/ cacao and other yummies)
raw coconut kale enchiladas

The last two were at Bliss Raw Cafe in Dallas, which is sooooo fabulous. I went there for lunch around 3 this afternoon, and I was almost floating afterwards, so much joy and contentment flowing through me! I may go back tomorrow and try one of their raw pizzas. Yummers!

But I haven't eaten since then. This low appetite is so weird for me. I'm a tiny bit hungry now, but only because I've been sitting here trying to get interested in eating. I think I'll have some banana and a fruit I got that's a mix of plum and pomegranate.

Didn't exercise today (it's 106 outside), but I may do a yoga tape before bed.

Everyone is doing great! Keep it up!!

L- Blended Kohlrabi greens with berries BLEECH!
S- watermelon and lemon water
D- Spinach salad, cashew, small orange tomatoes, lemon juice, and dried cherries.
--Flaxseed and and more watermelon !

Wow, congratulations everybody. So much progress and positivity.

-Huuuuuge kale salad w/ tomatoes, hemp seeds and avocado dressing
-Dates
-Banana smoothie with cinnamon, maca, flaxseed, coconut and dates. Needed a bit more coconut, a little less maca.

thanks Juniper44. Well I was also afraid but I felt lighter and gave it a try.

I will be weighing myself weekly. I want to see my progress in numbers also..
But I must say, If I did not lose weight, I would still be on raw because I feel more energic, lighter, happy.. Keep on doing your thing and go to the scale when it seems right, or do not go, see the results in your skin, mood etc..
