Morning all~:)

Plans for the day~

*green smoothie w/orange juice, kale, spinach, frozen banana & blueberries
*salad w/mixed greens, strawberries, clementines, red onion, pecans & rasp. vinaigrette...my fav. salad
*fresh young coconut milk w/cacao, maca, bee pollen & frozen banana
*pink lady apple

yup....sounds great~:D

Excited to have a raw month with my friend Bridget! I just love how I feel when I go 100% raw ... so clean, fresh and the options are endless. I find that every cooked food has a raw counter part ... so get creative and have some fun in the kitchen.

B: Banana and some cherries
L: Nut Burger and kale strips with a super yummy raw sauce (I bought this at Cream of the Crop in Oceanside). They have a great little raw deli and tons of raw snacks etc.
S: Salad (lettuce, avo, bell pepper, sunflower seeds, sprouts, carrots, cucumbers) with my favorite dressing (Olive oil, apple cider vin, agave, sea salt and pepper)
D: raw granola with almond milk
S: goji berries

Hi everyone!

2 bananas and half dozen apricots over the day.
I was in the office today so lunch was at the cafeteria. Amazingly, earlier this year they redid the salad bar and dessert bar turning the former into *only* raw veggies and crudités (previously it had been alot of mayo-based salads) and the latter into *only* fresh fruit slices (previously it had been mousses and jellos). Isn't that just awesome?!! So now it is easy to be raw at work without me needing to pack a lunch! :D
Dinner was a grapefruit-fennel salad, and Alissa's Indian spinach dip stuffed in tomatoes, with red peppers, and flax crackers (yes, I made the dip AGAIN!) The flax crackers I made last week -- experimented with carrot and cucumber pulp from juicing, mixed it with golden flax seeds, ground sunflower seeds, shallots, ginger, and garlic. They are ok. I think the pulp makes the taste a bit strange, I don't know how to describe it. I won't make them again this way as they are not uber-tasty, but with a dip or a topping, they do the trick!

Brekkie green smoothie – banana, spinach, date and hemp oil
Lunch – nori sheet, sunny pate, tomatoes, sprouts, peppers, olives, spring onion, lettuce and spinach...YUM!
Snack - mango, passion fruit, pineapple salad
Dinner – 2 x cacao orange raw bars and 2 piece raw chocolate!

What a great day! Hope everyone's feeling it!

Wow! Look at all of the people we have this month. =]

So far:
-Broccoli and tomatoes
-Pine nuts
-Mango/banana ice cream
And I'm thinking something avocado-y for dinner, but my appetite disappeared after I got some exercise, so we'll see what happens.

Hi Folks!

Today is day 2 of no coffee (after drinking one per day for 11 years) and I'm feeling semi-sluggish. I surely hope this subsides.

B: green smoothie (dandelion greens, chard, red kale, raw almonds, flax, blueberries, strawberries, banana).
S: gogi berries
L: salad (spinach, mushrooms, raw sunflower seeds, carrots, cherry tomatos) with dressing (braggs, flax oil).
S: 2 tangerines
D: spiralized zuccini with homemade walnut pesto
D: raw chocolate shake (cocoa, coconut oil, raw almonds, water, raw honey)

Forgot to check in last night, but here's what I ate:

32 oz green juice (spinach, celery, cucumber, parsley)
rawvolution corn salad
3 cups watermelon (yum!)
carrots with raw ranch dressing that I blended some avocado into
apple

Not a lot of food, and then I stayed up til 4 am because I wasn't tired, so day three needs to include exercise!
