I am psyched to begin a new month with a 30 day challenge. Shopped for beautiful produce yesterday, met a new raw friend and am feeling great. My tentative food plan for the day-

*water w/lemon & msm
*green smoothie w/orange juice, energy greens, frozen blueberries, banana & spinach.
*cacao smoothie w/almond milk, coconut, maca, bee pollen & frozen banana
*large green salad w/mixed greens, tomatoes, carrot, sunflower & pumpkin seeds, vinaigrette dressing.
*apple

...at least these are some of the things that sound good for the day...we will see~:D

Back for another raw month...I am very excited to be here! Hope everyone is healthy, happy and raring to go!

Brekkie - green smoothie with spinach, banana, date and hemp oil
Lunch - coconut and cashew Ombar - YUM
Dinner - peppers and houmous

...and we're off!

I'm going to try this month to break the 90% raw and go for 100%! (Guess that one slice of bacon today was not a good start, huh?) I wonder if anyone else ever "cheats" like that?

Happy Rawgust! Love it! No, I did not invent that, another rawbie in the 30-day challenge posted this phrase in the second Aug 1 thread. This phrase made me smile and will cheer me through the month! :)

Made a batch of Alissa's Indian spinach today, For the third time this week, I am in love with it! Put it over some cauliflower rice and it is a scrumptious feast. Today I ate it with flax crackers. Also had two bananas before tennis, and a lot of apricots and nectarines in the evening. Have a great day everyone.

looking forward to another month on the raw train. had a spinach and apple smooth this morning. great salad with romaine, dried cranberries, and raw ranch dressing. and water water water.

B - green smoothie (kale, apples, lemon juice, water)
L - real rawssian borscht with a little mock sour cream drizzled on top (YUM!)
D - yet to be determined

Hi, I haven't been eating 100% raw since the January challenge. I had way too many slips to stick to the following challenges. I've been eating 85 % raw and cheating with organic mint cookies and grilled of stewes chicken breast. Mostly it was the cookies that keep me from being raw and the sugar and hemp milk in my chai tea... Oh well. Not this month !

Today's menu:
1 1/2 cups Blended purple vienna kohlrabi leafs
Flaxseed
Brocolli, carrots, cherry tomatoes and cashew salad with lemon dressing
nectarine and a plum
1/4 cantaloupe
1 -1/2 cups blended alfalfa sprouts w/ water

Hey guys I am here too..

August will be splendid, I can feel it.

B- green smoothie and pineapple
S- apple and banana
L- green salad with creamy hemp dressing
S- homemade larabar
D- spice coleslaw with avocado. Watermelon for dessert.

I'm jumping in for the August 30 day challenge. Aug 1st is actually my 5th day 100% raw, and it was super joyful! I started it off with 13 hours of sleep (!) and for food ate:

1 cantaloupe
celery with raw macadamia nut/red pepper dip
raw lemon tartlet
rawvolution corn salad

I usually eat a lot more greens than that, but I need to hit the grocery store. I'm also aiming to start exercising this week.

Hi everyone.
Count me in..
It is my 5th day of being %100 raw today so, I think August will be good for me..

I was never a vegeterian or vegan but now I am ready for the challange for a healthier body...
August 1st
B- green smoothie , watermelon cranberry smoothie
S: banana and dates
L: green salad
s:4 apricot and 4 dates
L: purslane tomates salad with garlic lemon olive oil sauce
s:watermelon

It was a day I had guests for dinner so, I think I handled it pretty good.

It has been quite some time since I have given this a shot.

I had quite an appetite yesterday!

Breakfast-2 peaches and a handful of blackberries
Banana
Apple
Carrot
Lunch-Salad. Spinach, red onion, tomatoes, cukes, green peppers. No dressing.
Red grapes
Dinner-2 peaches, 3 bananas, 2 apples, 1 orange

I was waiting for August to start and got caught off guard! :eek:Well i just have to start tomorrow with the Green Smooties and raw veggie. Darn it! I can't believe i lost 2 days.:mad: Oh well, wherever i start is where i suppose to be.:)
