I don't know if this is the right place to post this.. or if I can even post this at all.

I am currently finishing up my teaching degree (second career) and I am planning on moving northward. I live in Florida now (originally from NJ) and was planning on moving back to NJ with my wife. After taking a hard look at the areas and reassing our priorities, I keep coming to Vermont.

"What does this have to do with raw food?" I hear you cry.

You see, I feel that raw, organic, and local food is very important, not only for a person's health, but for the world in general. From every thing I have seen, it seems that Vermont is very supportive with the locally grown, organic movement. Their schools buy as much as they can locally and offer balanced nutrition compared the various other schools I have seen around the country.

I want my children to grow up in a place where healthy eating isn't stigmatized. Where they can make healthier choices and be provided with those choices outside of our home. Vermont seems a supportive place for our lifestyle.

The problem is, I have no idea other then what I have read on the internet. So if there are any rawfoodies from that area, any insight you may have would be most appreciated. Thanks!

:)
