Hi everyone, i heard stories about people healing their teeth and even growing new teeth...can anyone share their stories about this and tell me exactly what they did? I am interested in improving the quality of my teeth and perhaps even growing new teeth!

I had definate improvements.
Shortly after starting raw I went to the dentist and received 3 fillings.I was a bit annoyed with the dentist because he billed me in full even though he was aware that all 3 had fallen out.
Within a very short time I was unable to locate the sites of the fillings.
I posted these links before about what pascalite clay and swishing with wheatgrass juice had done for peoples teeth. Do your own research on pascalite though as its a pretty strong and as yet unknown substance.

Hey, I've never really had tooth issues, but I thiiink my teeth have become whiter since going raw (maybe that was just from cutting out coffee though).
As far as growing new teeth? Not to be a wet blanket, but well, that's not possible. Humans, being mammals, are diphyodont - which means we only produce two sets of teeth in our lifetime. You should take a look into oil pulling though - I haven't tried it yet, but lots of these lovely people say it's a miraculous thing.

Firstly, it's not impossible for humans to grow super numerary teeth, it's rare but it happens. It also seems more likely to run in families (i.e. many related people growing a third set of teeth, or extra teeth). It's a throwback to our non mammal ancestors (all mammals being diphyodont)
That being said, there doesn't seem to be much evidence of people being able to induce such an event, though I keep an open mind and wouldn't discount this.
Most scientists take the tack that things such as these are not impossible, just highly unlikely. I've seen too many things that are 'highly unlikely' come about to immediately dismiss everything.

As a side note - sometimes there is NO permanent tooth to fill the space of baby teeth. I had 3 baby teeth (until I was in my 50's and a dentist decided they needed to go) and each of my daughters has 1 and 2 respectively. Seems this is hereditary as well.

My teeth didnt heal but got worse since going raw over three years ago.
My advice is to not trust raw to heal or cure or grow teeth but take awesome care of yours every day!

Good advice. A lot of people have problems so do everything you can to take care.

Yes, prevention might be less sexy and dramatic, but as grandma, says, it's always better than cure!
