Hello all, I am new to the forum and would like to know if there is anyone in the Mobile, Alabama area. I am a diabetic and looking for a new life free of insulin. It looks like raw foods seem to be way to go, but I am nervous about the detox. Any one locally would be a great help. thanks.

Welcome.
Don't be afraid of the detox. I kind of look at it this way. I didn't feel great when I ate SAD. So... some of the negative things that can (but may not) happen can't be any worse. But, I did really feel like crap. Major inflamation problems, migraine headaches, horrible pms, crabby mood swings and lots of negative emotions and depression.
You can do it. Don't be afraid.

Detox varies. I have never had any and I have been raw for 5 years. Yours may be easy.

I just wanted to clarify earlier statement. All the negative things I felt were on SAD, not detox. I did the mc and transitioned into raw food so all the detox came with the mc not the raw food.
