What's the best way to take the master cleanse mixture to work with? I know it says to not mix it up ahead of time, but I can't mix it up at work all the time.
Should I use a stainless steel thermos? Glass? Hard plastic? I have no clue and thanks for the advice.

I mix the juice of the limes / lemons with the cayanne and the syrup first thing in the am before leaving for work. I put it in a small jar, and then pour a bit of it into my glass and fill with water as needed throughout the day. A bit unorthodox, but like you, there are times when it just works out better this way. When at home of course, I do it fresh.
I'd put it in glass, it is the least reactive with citris juices.
Enjoy.

undefinedHi Cassy
Do you eat a raw meal at lunch or later in the day? I really knew to know if you can eat something on the same day that you are taking the master cleanse.
Thank you.

Hi Ann,
When doing the Master Cleanse (MC), you don't eat at all. They recommend you go a minimum of 10 days (with no foods). The following links will explain the MC:

Hi Walkin on Water,
I would go ahead and mix my water, maple syrup and lemon juice in the morning. I put them in glass bottles (Sobe bottles) and kept them in a cooler. I would add the ceyenne pepper just before consuming. If you put it in too soon the taste would be over powering. It seems to work for me. I went 9 days and felt great.

To answer the question about eating a raw meal while doing the MC. Nope, if on the MC, I don't eat foods, just drink the lemonade.
However, I have at times used the MC lemonade as a meal replacer when I am sick, etc and want something to provide energy, and not weigh me down. BUt I wouldn't consider that the MC then, just a lemonade drink. Personally, I love the sweet, tart and spicy taste of the lemonade. I have often made it for breakfast, and then ate fruits or veggies in the afternoon. Again, this is not to be considered as part of Stanley Burroughs plan.

Helen, I agree, those glass bottles from the Sobe are perfect. I just wish I would be able to find them without the juice in them! I am not a fan of Sobe, yet they have great packaging!

I'm currently on my second Master Cleanse and found that preparing the lemon juice in the morning and keeping it in a glass jar and then taking the syrup and cayenne pepper to work with me is the best. I put in the 2 tbs of each into a mug and then fill with hot water (like a tea). For some reason, I just can't drink it cold!!! I love the feeling during and after the 10 days!
