Hi everyone,
Newbie here posting from PA. Starting my first day of a 30 day raw challenge.
I've been mostly raw the last 3 weeks after a health scare of really bad anemia. Talked to my doctor office yesterday, they said my iron was way up. Also got in to a size 12 the other day (first time in 12 years!). Have been feeling much better.
Sadly, the last 3 days have seen me making really bad food choices. However today is a new day :)
I'll get a pic posted in the next couple of days. Would appreciate any support and will give it too.
Thanks!

Hi Everyone,
Thanks for all of the support.
To be honest, really struggling. Have been eating mostly raw, I'd say 90%.
I'm going to get the Book/DVD. I really think this eating raw thing has a LOT of merit too it.
Thanks again!

Hi Twinee,
I live in Dravosburg, PA. Small town about 15 miles or so from Pittsburgh. Where did you grow up at?

Welcome to you!
Just keep it up one day at a time. Each new minute, hour, day, is a new one in which to make new choices. You can do it!

I grew up in Springdale, PA. Just east of Pittsburgh. I don't recall hearing of Dravosburg. I too started my raw journey today. I visit this site for support. You mentioned getting Alissa's book. It definetly helped me to make the decision to go raw.

Well, Dravosburg is by Kennywood, if anyone has ever heard of it. I personally am not familiar with either of the towns mentioned before.
My last few days have seen me making very bad choices. Today however, has been great...nothing but raw.
I ordered the book and DVD and just got it. Have been reading and love it, can't believe all of they yummy recipes. Can't wait to try them out!

You know Williamsport?!?! No way!! That's too cool.
Before I moved to the Poconos I lived about 30 minutes from Williamsport. What a small world this is!! :)

Welcome to this wonderful board! :D
I'm from Aldan, Pennsylvania. It is in Delaware County, about 30 minutes from Philadelphia. Did you notice everyone gave there distance from one point to the other in time instead of in miles? They find that so strange here in AL! LOL!!

Hi everyone,
I got the book & DVD's the other day. Just love them. I have to be honest here, I've made some bad choices the last few days, but today was a total success!!! 1 day, 29 to go, and really will keep going after that.
I made the fudgeballs today and I couldn't believe how good they taste. I even passed them out to a few of my neighbors and they were well received. Also making dehydrated apples, bananas and leathers of them too for my daughter. She's not into this raw eating but I'm sure in time, that will change.
Thanks for all of the support!
