hi guys. today is the start of week 2 on my journey into RAW FOODS. my body usually responds quickly to changes i make weather good or bad & i noticed that the 2 times i ate out this past week(vegetable lo-mien and mushroom pizza) left me feeling awful. i made up my mind to give up restaurants all together. i try to eat mostly RAW and (with the exception of the 2 times i mentioned before) the cooked food i eat is to supplement the lacking carbs, iron, and protein.
im not sure what % i am at but i want to try to get in a bit deeper. at this point i have completely given up meats, poultry, eggs and cut down on cheese. i think i can get enough organics to do a juice fast and then try to go all RAW. i know that it is possible to go through headaches and other problems but i rather go through a real bad time this once than every time i eat SAD. I need a bit of help, so here is my list of questions:
1) Would you recommend a juice fast just 1 week into RAW?
2) How long should I stay on the juice fast?
3) I work out daily for about an hour, will I need carbs, will i have enough energy, will I be hungry?
4) Will i be drinking the same juice mix the whole time?
5) What fruits and veggies are a must for a good nutritious juice?
Thanks so much guys!
