How do you whiten very yellow teeth?

Also, I can only assume chewing greens stains the teeth green? Any thoughts on that?

search oil pulling . people use sesame seed oil or sun flower seed oil ,
and a few times per day put like a tablespoon in mouth and swish around and suck back and forth from behind teeth out to in front of teeth . then after 10 / 15 minutes spit it out and rinse . the oil cleans the teeth by doing so

I've had yellow teeth all my life. Based on my family history, I'm lucky to still have my own teeth. I have not found chewing greens, drinking green juice, or green smoothies to be a problem. I almost always rinse or brush after eating or drinking.

Oil pulling isn't good for everybody. I oil pulled with sesame oil for over a year. I can say without a doubt that it turned my teeth yellower, and made the pockets in my gums deeper.

After stopping oil pulling I started searching for other natural solutions. The best thing I've found to polish and brighten my teeth is a powder of 4 parts baking soda, 1 part sea salt, and 1 part rubbed sage. I put it on my toothbrush and top it with a few drops of lemon juice and brush immediately. The baking soda and lemon juice interacts to make a foam. It is abrasive. I'd like to use it everyday, but my teeth get sensitive using it that often.

I've heard it said many times that yellow teeth means healthy teeth. (Assuming they aren't stained from something you've been consuming).
Most whitening methods are just wearing away at the enamel, and I haven't discovered anything healthy yet, but you may want to check out this thread: http://www.rawfoodtalk.com/showthread.php?t=50915
