It's Sunday---I got back late yesterday from my trip..ten days away and except for one meal I stayed raw the whole time. It was great! My sister lent me her VM for the hotel so I had green smoothies every morning and also at my son's house I made green smoothies in his osterizer blender which worked very, very well. I ate a ton of salads. All week I ate smoothies, fruit, salads, grawnola and raw bread w/ almond butter and honey and some water but not enough. My calories were probably way too low. I don't "feel" like I lost any weight and if not I think that's why...just not enough food. BUT I did stay raw...everyone was very supportive but kept saying they didn't know how I had so much will power in the face of such "awesome" food. I kept telling them I was fine and just enjoying the smell of everything. Glad to be home...stocked up today at the store...cherries, mangoes, melons, greens..........yum....green smoothie for dinner tonight...looking forward to it!!
Hope everyone is doing fine!!!

Wow GlimR, how sensational! I'm so happy you were able to stay raw all that time. I wonder what will happen to the seeds your actions this trip have planted. ;) Funny how your body and your mind change what is perceived as "wonderful" food when you live naturally - most things don't even smell appealing anymore!
I made up for my lack of sleep today! Fifteen hours last night, and I feel much better (although I find myself exercising more than usual today).
- Cucumber "sub"
- Dates & chocolate
- Brazil nuts
- Kiwi and alfalfa sprout salad (This was an unplanned combination, and surprising good).
I'll probably have a brownie later on. :D

wakame & sauerkraut
carrot soup
an apple
The carrot soup was divine - I blended carrots with orange juice & apples, then added lots of garlic, ginger, dill, thyme, fennel seeds, tamari, etc. Made a large batch so I'm looking forward to eating the rest today! :)
