now what??!! LOL...I'm trying to do green smoothies but my blender is not top of the line so it gets a little chunky on the greens and i'm tired of straining so I know it's not the best can I juice the greens and add that to my fruit smoothie??

Money is tight but I wanted one so I got a Hamilton Beach Juice Extractor..it has recipes in the book for leafy greens so hopefully it will work...

What I would do is drink the green juice and then throw the pulp in to my smoothie. I feel that this way you get the best of both worlds. You get quick access to the juice in it most quickly absorbable form and still have the benefit of the fibre (and whatever nutrients are still in it) and nothing is wasted.

I agree with Sport, and this is what I do sometimes - works great.

My favorite green juice is kale, celery, and apple!

That is what I was doing at the beginning. I would juice my greens and add a banana to make it a green smoothie. Now I just blend everything together.

Is it based on the items you put in it or am I doing something wrong here??
