Well, first of all you need to let us know what you're eating. Are you eating a lot of nuts or other fats?

We would need to know what you are eating Lea. Are you eating a lot of nuts, oil? A lot of dehydrated food? Do you eat many greens? Do you drink a lot of water? Do you exercise?
Do you have any diseases or health issues?
All this we would need to know!
If you do have any issues with your health, your body may work on healing those before it gets to emptying out your fat cells. It will prioritize in the way most beneficial to your health.
Could you let us know more particulars please?

Blessings~

I eat ground up slightly sprouting wheat with honey in the morning, sometimes I eat raw cheese, salads with avocado, scallions, cucumbers, olive oil, braggs, and apple cider vinegar, nuts, bananas, other fruits, sometimes coconut, sometimes I make chocolate milk with almond butter, honey, cashews, and supposedly raw cocoa powder. I don't exercise as much as I should, maybe once a week. I'm healthy, about 10-15 pounds overweight and I drink about 2-3 Dasani water bottles every day.

As far as eating goes, that's the thing, I feel I need something and so I make a sweet desert with nuts and honey at night. Then I feel really full because I've eaten that on top of my dinner salad. In the morning I would say I don't eat as much as I do at night.

That's me! Thankx for wanting to help! :)

Hi Lea. Since you have a small amount of weight to lose, it will be a bit slower.
What I would do is eat nuts only once per day, not in dessert and meals and shakes. Also, the grains--I found the sprouted grains slow my weightloss a LOT. My body has to work a lot harder to digest them then it does with anything else living.
Adding a smoothis in the morning in place of the wheat will make a difference. I love bananas, frozen strawberries and mixed greens blended with a teensy bit of water in the morning. It holds me for a long time, is so sweet and makes my cells tingle. I also notice it helps me lose weight.
So , if you cut down on, not cut out, the nuts, and maybe forgo the sprouted wheat for a week to see if it helps you, that may do it for you.
I would also cut out the raw cheese, as it is saturated fat and your body then has to deal with that, which is a whole other issue.
Eating too close to bedtime slows weight loss also.
And believe it or not-more water will help!

Let us know what you discover and good luck!
Blessings~

How many times a day do you think I should eat? Sometimes I just feel like I need something. That's why I thought the sprouted wheat would help because I thought maybe my body wasn't getting enough carbs, and so it was sending me signals to eat something! I will definitly cut out the raw cheese and stop the wheat for a while. I think I've known for a while that the nuts were bad, but it's hard to stay off them when I get a craving for something sweet. Do you know of a good substitute for the nuts if I would like something sweet, cuz I have a MAJOR sweet tooth!

Thankx for your help! ;)

Nuts arent bad! Not at all. Its just if you want to lose weight quicker, then having them in a smoothie and a salad and a dessert all in the same day, days in a row will make weight loss slow.
You should eat however many times in a day you feel like eating. There is no set number, its what your body wants! And if you are happy with what you are eating, and willing to wait for the weight loss to come in its own good time--then dont change anything.
But if you arent, just cut down on the fat a bit. Eat fruits whenever you want, as much as you want, All the greens you can handle. Smoothies are sweet. Raw ice cream is fabulous, Just freeze some bananas, place 2 or 3 in a food processor, frozen, add honey, vanilla and whiz. It will turn into soft serve ice cream. You can add carob, or other fruit, or a small bit of nuts. Yummy dessert.

There is a factor you should consider. As an example, Nora from rawchool, says it took her 5 months to begin losing weight. Everybody is so different. You cannot see the inside of your body, the condition of your organs, tissue, cells etc. But your body can. And it will divert its energy to wherever is needed first. So, thats why I say if you are happy with what you are eating and how you are feeling physically, dont change anything. It will happen in its own time. But if your not happy, cut down on your fats. Dont cut them out, because you need them for more reasons then one.

I hope this helped you somewhat.
Best wishes~
