OK! So I've decided to give it a go and see how I do :) Should be interesting since I don't have a dehydrator, a good blender and I cook in a restaurant for a living!
But I'm still willing to try ;)

Hello !
I am also a new member. Would a newcomer be warmly welcome here? Good day you guy !
I've only been eating mostly raw for a few weeks but I think this is going to be good for me...so I'd like to join the 30-Day challenge beginning July 1.

Welcome everybody. =] I'll be in as well.
Good luck, Poptart! Don't worry, I don't have a dehydrator either (although I live in the desert, so I just use my car :p), and my blender is horrid. You can still make most things though, it just requires some extra poking and prodding.
Absolutely, Donna. Everyone is welcome. :D

I stuck around last month for about 10 days... so I'm going to give this another shot. I have a kitchen to myself for almost three weeks so this will help tremendously!
Good luck everyone!

Happy July!!!! Am so glad to be part of the monthly challenge. This month will be a challenge. I have company here thru Sunday and then am going on vacation out of town for 11 days, traveling and going to my Mom's 90th b'day celebration/family reunion in NY. My son belongs to a co-op in Albany so will be going there to stock up on things for myself, bring some raw bread, almond butter, nuts, grawnola, macaroons, powdered greens, etc...and my sister is lending me her vitamix to have in my hotel. My mother is buying, ripening and freezing bananas for me for my green smoothies!! So.......sounds do-able!
My adult step son is visiting and he said last night I have the most interesting kitchen he has ever seen! :D He just wants to poke around!
Food today~
Water w/lemon & msm
green smoothie w/fresh oj, blueberries, banana, spinach & bee pollen
salad
mango salad w/onion bread
melon
Hope everyone has a great day!

Happiest of July 1sts and Day 1 to you all!!
Here I am, going to go 99-100% raw again! (I say 99 because I may be taking some supps which don't really qualify, while I get through my sinus issues/whatnot) I am totally feeling this challenge this month. I feel prepared. I have easy to make, not too many ingredient, healthful smoothies, juices, and soups I can fall back on if I get into trouble. Unlike last month where I felt lost in the breeze and unsure.
I'm semi-debating a juice fast this month, after I kick my sinus issues to the curb. I'm thinking a nice week or so of fasting might help eliminate more toxins and give my body a break after processing through supplements and drugs. But we'll see. The allure of a crunchy veggie might be too . . . alluring at the beginning of my raw journey to pass up!
Today I have a lot of little chores and errands to do, which I'm not really looking forward to. But if I get them done today that will leave me free and clear this weekend. Since I have a long weekend (no work Monday, woo!), it is very appealing to have everything done and be able to just relax!
I'm not doing very well consuming things today (which usually means energy crash). It has been a stressful and long morning. But I did make/plan out some good things to eat. Just need to find the time to eat them!
Today's Foods:
Lemon honey water
Green smoothie (orange, peaches, spinach, honey)
Hoping To Get To Eat At Some Point ;) :
Coconut pineapple water
Apple
Salad (romaine, carrot, celery, sprouts)
Banana
Tomato soup (tomato, cucumber, celery, sprouts, garlic, spices)
If only I had time to eat these things I'd probably be full of energy! But since I've only managed to eat about 1/3 of my planned meals/foods today, I am feeling run down and sluggish. I think I will try to eat my salad soon at least. Meh.
I can't wait for the weekend!
Hope everyone is having a great Day 1!
