Morning all!
GlimR - I cannot wait till I get past whatever raw transition/detox stuff and have lots of energy! Energy is such a big thing for me and feeling "sick". I've been super happy with the amazing sleep I've gotten the past few days though since getting back to high raw. So that's a start!
Speaking of sleep, after my pee-fest (yes I said pee-fest!) of a day I had yesterday I managed to fall asleep, and stay asleep something like 6-7 hours straight. No waking myself up to check the time, or get up and pee! This is amazing. I haven't gotten that much sleep in ages! I'm still feeling lethargic and groggy today though. I think it may be lack of eating though. I didn't plan my day of food today and that generally leads to disaster.
I've been doing liquids until dinner lately, which I've been enjoying, but I think today I'll be having more crunchy foods. I miss chewing! I'm about to get up and make myself some juice though. I'm thinking orange, red swiss chard, and maybe a stalk of celery. I'd like to be nice and orangey. That just sounds yum to me.
And I've been absolutely adoring tomato "soup" recipes I've been making. So I think when I get hungry after my juice I'll make that, and have some romaine. I already know I want to make broccoli salad for dinner, so, there we go! I planned my day! :) I'm trying hard to follow good food combining and sequential eating too. Anyone do this? I'm wondering if it's okay to have "mixed" meals (like, eat my soup, wait a bit, eat my lettuce, rest - then next meal same thing, liquid, wait, solid) or if I should stick to taking all my liquids first, and, besides water, leaving all my solids (in the right order) for dinner. I find I'm really missing something solid at lunch times, so would like to bring a veggie to chew after my lunch juice.
Anywho - I planned for today to be super relaxing, go at my own pace, take naps if necessary, let my body rest if its detoxing or even if not, it seems to want sleep! I also want to get a good chunk of reading done today. And a few little clean up clutter chores. But if I don't get around to certain things, I'm not going to beat myself up either!
Alright, I'm off to make my orange juice. Hope everyone has an awesome day! I'm sure I'll be dropping by again :)

You are too sweet Starfire!! :)
I am finding my way though. I feel great and like this is so much easier somehow. Just blending most of my meals is working out beautifully. And I'm absolutely loving my tomato soups (not hot of course but still, yum!). In fact, I just skipped the OJ earlier and went right for the tomato soup! I added some carrot for extra nutrients. That with romaine leaves, yum! Happy tummy. I've even felt pretty energized, though I have spent all day in bed anyway ;).
Oh! That reminds me, I wanted to do a tolerance test with my bee pollen today. Since my allergies are pretty bad I don't want to over do it. I found a good "testing" method online to slowly build up from 1 pellet to however many make you react . . . then you know how much to take to start. I'm pretty certain I won't have any sort of dangerous reaction, likely just runny nose and sore throat (like I still do with almonds but a building a tolerance to) but I do have people around just in case. So no worrying! ;)
Having a very happy raw day. Hope all are doing well!

Hi Everybody, I'm just now starting my day or afternoon I guess. lol.
Last night I had a show and I don't think I've ever had as much energy onstage as I did last night.
The healthy eating must be paying off.
Woke up with a slightly swollen ear and sore throat.
It's either allergies or a little bit of detox symptoms.
And even though I feel a little worn out, I'm going to hang in there and keep up with eating salads and fruit. :D

Hey all.
Today was not much fun, food-wise. Went out for breakfast, so I just brought my own grapes, and had a few dates.
I snacked for lunch, chocolate bar and LOTS of brazil nuts.
And we went out again for dinner, so I brought strawberries, and tried to munch on the salad I ordered, but I didn't really want it. I hate going out to eat, there's no freedom to follow your cravings. Anyways, now I'm really full. :(
On the bright side, my parents bought me an Ani Phyo book and a gift certificate to the health food store (mostly because they're worried about my weight), so those will be fun. :)

So i'm finaally actually beginning this. And the day went smoothly except for a couple of minor inconveniences..
First of all, up until 5 o'clock, all I had in the house was dates and 2 lemons and an orange. Hahaha, I ate a loott of dates in the day.
Breakfast: 2 sweet lemons and 1 orange, last of any raw food in the house ('cept dates of course).
Lunch: freaking lot of dates.
Snack: I was sick of dates and realized there were dandelion greens in my backyard :] nom nom
Dinner: half of a pineapple, green grapes, lychees.
Unfortunately, my dad took us out to dinner after this and made me eat something because it was a special occasion.. I was forced to get something and they didn't have salads =[ so I ordered sashimi and figured it was raw... Not such a good thing, but not as bad as giving up and ordering tempura or something. So i'll just pretend it's all alright and stop fretting about the mercury I probably just introduced to my body during my detox session.
Goodjob all! :)
