Which is better in preserving nutrients of wheatgrass?

1. Harvest all wheatgrass, juice it all, and freeze it.
2. Cut all wheatgrass, put it in the fridge, juice what you need each day

I don't know what's better nutrition-wise, but I grown 3 large trays at a time, so I juice it all and then portion it out and freeze it. *Ü*

I recently watched a DVD by the man in charge of the nursery at Hippocrates Health Institute. I learned a LOT about wheatgrass and other grasses too.

He said to grow the WG, cut it all at once and keep it in the fridge for a week, juicing daily. If using a green bag, you can count on 2 weeks in the fridge.

I don't remember the exact numbers, but he said what happens when we freeze it and what happens when we let it grow past its "prime". The nutrition takes a huge nose dive. It was so significant that I'll follow his advice from now on and harvest it when it's ready and put it in the fridge.

I'll be watching the video again in the future and when I do, I'll jot down the stats he gave on the loss of nutritients, etc. and come back and post. *Ü*

I wonder if the nutrients are effected the same way for all greens when you freeze them.
