Good morning! :)

Welcome to the raw way of life, Gothiclove! You'll find lots of support on this forum!

I found a couple of bags of organic tomatoes at the store yesterday for a dollar a piece, so I made a big bowl of tomato soup this morning for breakfast. YUM!! :p I'm taking salad leftover from lunch yesterday to work along with a quartered red pepper and some mango/banana pudding. It's a great day to be raw! :D

I missed you guys yesterday...was sick and tending a little one running a fever...stomach was off and didn't eat after the morning. Feeling better today and hungry!:D

Tentative plan-

cantaloupe
green smoothie
salad
peach julius
Alissa's spinach dip (really delicious) w/onion bread

I never wind up sticking to this much but whatever I have will be raw and fruity.
Hope everyone has a great raw day~

btw-
Down 13 lbs since June 1st!

Hi Everybody, thanks for the welcome and the encouragement. My tentative plan for today and for most of the next thirty days will probably be. To start my mornings eating fruit and then round out my day by having some salad or something in the evenings.:)

Welcome Gothiclove!

Pilgrim-that stinks about your peas! :( One of these days that soup will happen...

I had to throw out a whole ton of fruit today. I noticed some of my apricots were rotten and moldy, so I trashed them and the fruit that was nearby. I'm bummed. I don't have any fruit left until Friday except a watermelon, a few bananas, and my frozen smoothie fruit. Ack. Guess it'll be a smoothie-riffic week!

I'm totally loving my dehydrator. The kale chips are out of this world! Flax crackers were so-so, need a different recipe I think. Now I've got onion bread in, and wow does that smell sublime!

B: green smoothie with spinach, bananas, frozen mango/strawberries/pineapple/peach
L: salad with chia mustard dressing, but couldn't eat much b/c the dressing was way hot from the garlic
S: orange, dried fruit, grapes
D: purple smoothie with banana, blueberries, beet greens with baby beets attached, and molasses nutritional yeast and cocoa & carob powders.
S: kale chips!!!

Stink! Oh well! Let me know when you do!
That's the best part of eating raw....it's all SUPER delicious & you can loose weight!

Keep it up girl!

Hello to all you June challengers. :) I wanted to pop in and give you my congratulations on your journey!

Having completed my first 30 days, I have taken the past two days to experiment with (vegan) foods to see if there was something there that was affecting my health. I won't mention any more than that because of the nature of this thread, but I wanted to cheer you on. It's not always easy, but I know you can do it!

I look forward to continuing the journey. I plan on renewing my 100% raw dedication with you all.

Won't come on here and complain, but my digestion and tummy are not doing well at all.
Haven't been able to eat today except a little bit of watermelon and some Casaba Melon.
Hopefully I will be better tomorrow.
So glad everyone is doing well, and I hope you feel better GlimR, and welcome to the boards Gothiclove.
Night,
Cathy

B: Chopped apple & peach with cinammon!
S: Pine nuts
L: Banana ice cream (with kale).
S: Dates

I feel rather bloated. :( Green smoothie fast for a few days perhaps? I'd like to water fast but work takes too much out of me.

Today will be my first day 100% raw. I've been about 75% since I started and I think I can get more out of this than I'm getting now :)
