blender advice?

hi, can someone advise a high quality blender to me so I can make some fine smoothies and soup? Idealy it's not gonna cost a fortune. Thanks!
(besides: is it possible to juice fruits with some all around blender-juicer kind of thing?)

Yes you can juice with a blender. Throw your fruits and veggies in, add some water, and blend away. Use a nut milk bag or better and cheaper, a nylon paint straining bag from Lowe's and strain the stuff from the blender. Makes darn good juice.
