Hello! My name is Melissa. I live in North Carolina. I am embarking on a raw food journey. In the last year I have become a vegetarian, I still cannot give up my homemade yogurt and cheese. I am currently 85% raw and 15% cooked (lightly). My children follow the same diet, but my husband is very reluctant.

Thanks for allowing me to discover being a complete raw food consumer!

That is so amazing that your kids are eating healthily with you, and good luck with your husband! I'm in the same boat (minus little ones), and I think we can sloooowly influence our sweethearts bit by bit. ;)

There are lots of reasons for you to give up diary and lots of info on the web dealing with the dangers of it.
Every improvement that you make is a step in the right direction and you will get there eventually.

Welcome....I also have embarked on thid live style. I am presently about 75% raw. I was at around 90% but could not maintain that. I live in NC, I am in Jacksonville. I come to Wilmington bi-weekly to shop at the co-op.
