Good morning rawsome rawbies! :)

I LOVE green smoothies! I just finished a banana/berry/spinach smoothie and I'm taking a bottle of green lemonade to work with me. For lunch I've got a rainbow veggie salad with mango and cherries for a snack if needed.

I slept great last night and am looking forward to another fabulous day!

Everyone's doing great!

Hi all~:)
I am doing fine....exhausted but still all raw. This week I am going to try and eat more. The last week has been nuts with DD moving. Today is the day my beloved DH will finally get his romantic birthday dinner for two. I am really looking forward to that. Cooking the SAD food for him and family has tempted me a few times but not to the point that I was driven to eat it. Tomorrow I am going to make a raw lasagna recipe I found here w/spinach, marinated mushrooms, a raw ricotta & marinara & zucchini noodles...other than that and the granola I haven't eaten more than simple foods so far and I like that.

What I bought yesterday-

4 young coconuts (Yeah!!! They were back in)
spinach
scallions
avocados
mangoes
corn
red peppers
cucumbers
red butter lettuce
romaine
tomatoes
fuji apples
watermelon
celery
beets
lemons
oranges

Next week will be restocking nuts, am out of most except for sunflower, flax & pumpkin seeds.

Am going to spend the next several hours overhauling my kitchen.........fun!!!

I just had a green smoothie: pineapple, mango, one huge banana, and spinach, it was yummy.

Planning to do some uncooking today, Kale chips, some crackers, and pizza crust. I also would like to make some Spanish rice using the cauliflower we bought on Wednesday. It would be a good dish to take to work tomorrow.

Lunch will probably be Watermelon!

Dinner: not sure yet. I loved the avocado mixed with salsa and chopped tomato yesterday, so I may do that again tonight. We will see.

It is hot and humid here today! Another steaming day in Tennessee.

Have a great Sunday!

Good morning!!!

Today was my official weigh-in day (although I've visited the scale twice this week. LOL) and I'm down to 167.6. I've somehow lost a pound in the last day. The only thing I did differently was drink the juice of 3 lemons throughout the day in addition to my other foods.

Today I am going to pick through the wonderful fruits and veggies that we have. I'm not going to set any meals, as today is DBF's day off and we tend to snack on those days.

Have a beautiful Raw day!

Good day today! This morning I fit into a pair of shorts I haven't worn in three years :D I didn't think I would fit into them because last time I wore them I was about 6-8 lbs lighter than I am now, but I guess it's distributed differently this time. Wheee!

B: purple smoothie with spinach and some mini beet greens (from thinning my beets in the garden), banana, blueberries, and raw almond milk
L: honeyrock melon and a kiwi
S: grapes, cherries, raisins, handful of mixed nuts, banana with raw almond butter (all these spread out over the day)
D: not really hungry yet, but thinking about live gardenburger

Still feeling good today after our 2 day hike, and my muscles weren't even sore. YEAH!!

But, I was a lot more hungry today. I guess all that exercise caught up with me.

Watermelon, and more watermelon

Some other type of melon that I never tried before, and it had lost it's sticker so I don't know the name of it. But it sure was good, and sweet.

BIG green smoothie about 48 ounces A LOT of spinach, mango, bananas, pear, apple, and some yummy cilantro. I love how the cilantro gives it that kick.

I was tired of "sweet" tonight and was really craving salty and fats, so I fixed some romaine lettuce wraps with avocado, carrots sliced thin, cucumber sliced thin without the peeling, and some sea flakes sprinkled on top.
It tasted sooooo good, but it seems that the fat in the avocado triggered some major cravings for more fat, and I felt even more hungry. I wanted to eat another avocado, but I had just ate one whole large one on the lettuce wraps, so I grabbed my soaked raw almonds, and ate some of them, then went back for more several times :( I knew all the fat wasn't going to make me feel good, but it was like I couldn't control myself, and if I didn't eat the almonds, it was like I was about to eat something cooked, and my son's
"Amy's Organic Pizza" was hot out of the oven and smelling pretty tasty, so I kept grabbing the almonds.

Why is it that when you eat something that contains a lot of fat like Avocados, Nuts, or even Veganase, your body goes crazy and feels like it wants to binge?? I know it could mean I need more fats in my diet, but even when I ate SAD, and ate plenty of fats, it still acted the same way.

Hopefully I won't pay too much for overeating the nuts, and a whole avocado, but it's better than paying for eating a pizza

And yes I know Veganase isn't raw, but it was one of those "fats" that always makes me want more, and to just eat it off the spoon.
