Hello!!
I thought I'd take a little time to introduce myself.
ME: My name's Elizabeth, I'm 28-- born and living in Toronto. I've been married for 2 years to a fantastic guy who is also incoorporating raw food into his diet, and I'm a mom to a snuggly fur baby named Pookers! :)
I love shopping, and I LOVE to travel (we just came back from London, England for our anniversary-- omg, the shopping was incredible, lol), and my favourite place on this earth is ALASKA! DH and I are big fans of winter stormy weather (and winter sports), so we went to Alaska for our honeymoon... We didn't want to leave! :(
Due to nagging health problems (terribly high inflammation), I am slowly transitioning to raw foods... and through the wisdom of fantastic raw foodies and my own studies in holistic nutrition, I hope to really learn what it means to treat my body well. I am excited for my journey of learning and healing. :)
I do have a few pounds to lose (DH too), so in the last few months, we've really embraced working out. Hot yoga, vinyasa flow yoga, and kundalini yoga are new favourites of mine, and I try to go a classes at least 3x/week. I also do strength training and pilates DVDs at home.
Thanks for taking the time to read this :D
Drop me a line anytime,
Elizabeth
P.S. I do have Alissa Cohen's book (along w/ many others), and it is quite good!
